Who am I?

I am Ziva Ivadóttir – I chose this name and this is how you can find me. I am currently based in Iceland – a beautiful island in the middle of the North-Atlantic ocean.

Volcanos, storms and deep waters stole my heart and nature is something what has been inspiring me since I was a small child. My lines are wild and free. My work is like a stepping into dreams or seeing a flying raven by the corner of your eye.

In my art you can see interest in nature, psychology, comparative mythology and movement coming from my ballet years.

In tattoos my lines are gentle, combined with dreamy dotwork flow as well as heavy blackwork. All intuitive and all freehand created alongside client’s memories and feelings.

My work is alive. I love making things connected, giving them deeper sense and provide healing and closure if needed.

I love creating music artwork and here are a few bands I was working with: Ravelin 7, Harakiri for the sky, Mario infantés, Vévaki…

Another beloved thing to do are book illustrations. It is my great pleasure to draw and paint and tattoo for living and I am immensely grateful.
